Kinda chilling to read this passage in Cathy O'Neil's Weapons of Math Destruction at the end of yet another week with news of humanities and social science subjects being cut at a UK university

Very sad day in the hockey world. We don't know how or why Chris Simon died yet, but I'll suggest it that unless it is some sort of unknown medical condition, it's likely hockey-related (concussion, brain damage, mental health, etc). And Konstantin's death is a suicide.
Hockey has some very very deep problems that it needs to deal with.
Condolences to all the families and friends.
